For A Moment, the new CD from Sue and Dwight, is a collection of songs that reflect the multitude and diversity of moments that make up our everyday lives.
Some moments are fleeting glimpses into the lives of people we pass by. Others can be deeply personal... leading to epiphanies that give us a whole new outlook. Still others can lead to significant social or historical change at some unforeseen point down the road. Our lives are full of these and other moments.
For A Moment, the 3rd release from Sue & Dwight, represents a true evolution of their folk roots musical style. In capturing the moments, each song adopts the unique lyrical and musical traits needed to communicate it’s message and succeed as a piece of art. It’s contemporary folk music with a few twists.
For A Moment was recorded at Toronto's Revolution Recording and some of the city's best musicians help bring the songs to their peak. Appearing on the album are Wendell Ferguson, Kevin Quain, Adam Warner, Dave Lang, Jesse Dietschi, Swamperella, Shelley Coopersmith, Mike Elmer, and vocalists Mike Daley, Laurel Tubman, Karen Scovell and Jason Farrar.
